Norton Buffalo Tribute, Paradise Performing Arts Center, Paradise, CA, Nov. 22, 2009

A tribute concert took place Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, at the Paradise (Calif.) Performing Arts Center for Norton Buffalo, harmonica player extraordinaire, longtime prominent session player, bandleader, songwriter, producer, 34-year Steve Miller sidekick, husband, and for the past several years, a pro-active advocate for the people and town of Paradise, which he called home for the past several years. He passed away on Oct. 30. Guest musicians appearing at the benefit for Norton's wife, Lisa (a second show on Nov. 23 benefits the PPAC), included Roy Rogers, Maria Muldaur, Barry Melton, David and Linda LaFlamme, Maurice "Big Mo" Huffman, Carlos Reyes, Tom Rigney, and many more. great photos! Dennis and I went to the show last night and had a great time. Really a fun show. I was amazed by Carlos Reyes, and I saw Maria Muldaur when I was 19! Dennis really loved the show too. Thanks for sharing such great photos.
