Well-established and respected in the Chico area and beyond, Mossy Creek, sported a slightly new lineup of veteran players when they performed a spirited mix of Americana/alt-country/bluegrass melange at City Plaza in Chico on August 31, 2012. This particular installment of the city's Friday Night Concert Series took place on a delightfully cool late-summer night as a "blue moon," the second full moon in the same calendar month, rose above downtown Chico. The band lineup consists of founder Pat Haley (banjo, dobro, vocals), Christine Hogan (fiddle), Kim Gimbal (mandolin, vocals), Bob Littell (harmonica), Tamara Allspaugh (vocals), Chris Wenger (guitar, vocals), and Jack Lemley (bass).
