Moonalice: Arena Theatre, Point Arena, Calif. December 31, 2010

While on the Northern California coast for New Year's weekend, Donna and I rung in 2011 with popular rockin' San Francisco jamband Moonalice at the intimate Arena Theatre in Point Arena. Moonalice includes Pete Sears (Rod Stewart/Jefferson Starship/Hot Tuna), Barry Sless (Phil Lesh & Friends, David Nelson Band), John Molo (Bruce Hornsby, Phil & Friends, The Other Ones), Ann McNamee (Flying Other Brothers, Ann Atomic), and Roger McNamee (Flying Other Brothers). After a cocktail hour and lovely international buffet dinner, we settled in for the two-set show. A New Year's toast kicked off the second set, which began with a quick "Auld Lang Syne," followed by Bob Dylan's anthemic "Like A Rolling Stone," and Moonalice's own epic "Tell Me It's OK."
