Through ancestree.com, Donna was recently introduced to her dad's original family, the one that existed and thrived before Donna's mama met her dad, and that Donna's Redding, California-based family never knew about. They were and are the Jennings, based in Minnesota. Dad had left Minnesota in 1951. These newfound family ties, 66 years in the making prompted Donna to lead us in a lovely meeting of kin; we visited and were welcomed by family in such Minnesota towns as Grand Meadow, Austin, and Ottertail, meeting and befriending new/old family at every stop. Thanks to all the Jennings for their hospitality. You were all wonderful!
