Los Lonely Boys, John Ascuaga's Nugget, Sparks NV, June 11, 2009

Los Lonely Boys, the Tex-Mex/rock/blues band from San Angelo, Texas, rolled through the Reno, Nevada, area on June 11 for a show at John Ascuaga's Nugget. Donna and I met up with several Bay Area friends for dinner before moving over to the show in the 700-capacity, table-filled Celebrity Showroom. The show included new and old LLB songs, and the brothers Garza also performed three big covers: "I'm a Man" (Spencer Davis Group), "Superstition" (Stevie Wonder), and "Voodoo Chile" (Jimi Hendrix).
