Gold Nugget Parade, Paradise, CA, April 25, 2009

Every year, the Sierra foothills town of Paradise, Calif., celebrates its Gold Rush history, particularly the 1859 discovery of a 54-pound gold nugget nearby, with Gold Nugget Days.
