The Chico World Music Festival, which takes place anually on the campus of California State University, Chico, is perhaps this town's most diverse musical event. The weekend of Sept. 19-21, 2008, began with a Friday night show at Laxson Auditorium featuring heraded Australian guitarist Tommy Emmanuel and supporting act Anthony Snape. On Saturday and Sunday, the music, arts, artistans and food vendors were concentrated outdoors on the campus' lush lawns. Here's a selection of images, as shot for CSUC's University Public Events.
