Chico Breaks the Record music marathon, April 26, 2015, The Tackle Box, Chico, CA. On this day, as the marathon surpassed 20 days of continuous live music, I saw Bogg, Linda Roland, Margo Westmoreland Blehm (with Dale Price), Dess 5000 (from the Maker's Mile), Defenders of the Faith, and a family affair, featuring Erin and Pat Haley along with Katie and Kathleen Dixon.

About Chico Breaks the Record: "For the entire month of April, I-Play-in-Chico, Get Foxy Productions, and The Tacklebox are teaming up for one of the most ambitious local music events in Chico history!

The current Guinness World Record for 'Longest Multi-Artist Concert' was 15 days, 12 hours.

Well, Chico shattered that record and is now just waiting for Guinness confirmation.

The idea behind this attempt is to bring national (international?) attention to Chico for its thriving and talented local music scene.
