For the 10 consecutive year on the third weekend in July, I had the pleasure of being the official photographer for the California WorldFest in Grass Valley, CA. Thanks once again to all of the fine staff and volunteers, and especially to festival directors Dan DeWayne and Christine Myers for presiding over all aspects of this annual global village, especially the main ingredient -- fine musical talent from all over the world. The classiness of the festival production, and the kind vibe set in motion by the warmth of the performers, volunteers, and attendees, makes it quite special. Headliners were India.Arie, Nanci Griffith, David Grisman Bluegrass Experience, and Jake Shimubakuru, but there was an abundance of amazing music on eight stages.
