Very good controlled depth of field. I like the textures and the rusty colours. Well done.

But this is a great picture, as serious as any other...serious picture.
A joke is to pretend to do art with trash , not your situation.
Abraço,
jorge

This kind of surface/texture should become Chapter 1: Introduction to DOF in the training manual. You've passed with flying colours!

Strangely this reminded me of Niall's bullring detail shot he took a while back, although obviously very very different scales... This is more the ants-eye-view. Keep going Ana - will be watching!

Well done! Effective use of DOF.

Awesome shallow DoF!
This one looks pretty serious to me. Can't you see the serious look I have on my face?

J'aime beaucoup comment tu as transformé ce réel froid et dur en autant de petites perles... (Quant aux photos sérieuses... la seule chose sérieuse en photo, à mes yeux, est de prendre du plaisir!;)

Superb image Ana! Stunning use of DOF. Every image from your new toy gets
better, and better. With your vision, I told you it wouldn't be long! :-)
Guest 30-Oct-2006 04:52
The longer you dreamed of it, the better it had to be, Ana! You had the right light and the right choice of focus. Well done!

Hi, Ana -- you are entitled to play with a new toy. I'm glad you acknowledge that expression is based on substantive content, rather than pleasant experiments in form for its own sake. You are well aware that a camera is only a tool. It does not make the picture. You make the picture. It is your talent that drives the image, not your optics. Good luck in your efforts, Ana.
Guest 29-Oct-2006 18:47
:-) Ana.
Have fun! Have fun again... the shots are great. And I smile thanks to you!
