It rained

I woke up startled by your absence,
and as I pulled the blinds I saw the rain outside,
fresh raindrops drawing their lifelines on the window,
so brief, so beautiful.
Did you take your jacket? Is it cold?
Can you find your way home?
Surely I've heard your footsteps rushing under the moonlight.
Could I be wrong?

I think that I have just found my favorite photo from all of your galleries. Although whole your work is excellent this is the best among the others. For me of course. Drops shining in light are like falling stars on a hard, sharp edges of stones in the street. Love the light and composition. Just lovin’ it! A big vote!
