Very elegant. The light is wonderful, with the soft haze. Great details, the bird adding some superb sharp curves. Superb image.

Wow, another fantastic image! I love all the elements here, especially the detail you have captured here Ana. There is an impressive amount of detail visible in the shadow area, and again, the light, and mood are superb.

I would love to fly like this bird Anna. All my other feelings for this photo are exactly the same like everyone else that saw this photo. It is, indeed, a wonderful shot. V.

I agree with others, Chris said exactly what I felt about this picture. Vote too.

Beautifully exposed, Ana. It still retains the solitude, the lingering sadness that haunts many of your portraits. GMV

That flying bird would have made this shot work even more expressively, Ana. Right now only Kal and Natisunber saw it -- I had to look hard to discover it there, merging into the background. Birds need to fly free, and that meant capturing it in flight either against the water or the sky. A good technique for such a challenge as this is to use your multiple exposure option. Just keep the finger on the button and eventually the bird will fall into the right place for you. In any event, the image still works beautifully for its rich and luminous color, visible bird or not. It is timeless, and tranquil. It is full of atmosphere, a mood reminiscent in a way of an early morning image I made near a Laotian river early this year:http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/40171967

Am I the only one who sees the the bird....a flight of fancy for the Queen of Exposure ;-)

I am tracing shivers of warmth across your sunset skin. And even though you are with me,I can only feel the glaze of wet stained glass from your eyes.As there will be always a silhouette not to be trespassed between us.Details of injured reason are forbidden but imagined.Encompassed by a distant haze of firey discontent.A smokey mirage of tormenting characters teasing discomfort from an untouchable horizon.Your color bewitches me with sublime unanswerable beauty. It is a flame that flickers away from love's intentions.A careless love that can irrepairably damage.

~V! luminous yet brooding~

Beautiful orangy sunset.. .the way the natural shoreline and shadows angle across the image balance it so much like the peace of yin/yang..
