Inventive self portrait and...cool mouse :)

Very original and almost surreal, in the sense that you have created a living being out of that electronic mouse. A stetment about what we have become? Who is controlling who. Also, I want to know what that paper says underneath? By the way, are you using a mousepad, it is better for it and makes it less tempremental (see they are alive!)?

I love this one, Ana: so many things to see in it. In the same time, there is a strong subject that makes it graphically clear: your hand on this mouse ;-) I like the shape of your hand, your gesture, elegant and expressive in the same time. Beautiful tones in the photo too!

This image is still another remarkable self portrait, Ana, and a very intimate one at that. You bring us so close to your nails -- so sleek in their glittery flat polish, and so immaculate in their presentation. The texture of the skin is intimately presented as well -- you reveal the tiniest of lines in your flesh, the hairs rising from the skin, and all of it relaxed upon a reflective chromed mouse that is as clean and sleek as the person who commands it. It is amazing how much you choose to reveal of yourself in this Macro image, Ana.

You also effectively put to rest the myth that somehow an expensive, many-megapixel DSLR is needed to capture fine detail. It is a myth that camera manufacturers and marketers have propagated in order to get people to buy into expensive lens systems. Yet you use the simplest of digicams here, and with the proper vantage point and exposure, you are able to get every bit as much story telling detail into this picture as someone using a camera that costs ten times as much, weighs three times much, and is far more obtrusive in the long run. Of course the reason is simple: you only show your pictures on the net. You don't need to make huge prints of your work or shoot in raw format or in multiple bursts. So for your purposes, a simple digicam well used like this can be every bit as effective as any DSLR.
