I think this is my favorite of the self portraits. There is the feel of connection with the viewer; the kind of posture, perspective and relaxed, open expression one would find in a casual conversation with a friend.

A wonderful portrait Ana. What makes it special is the incongruently elegant nature of the way the body seems to move within the frame -- it almost looks as if you are dancing. Yet your face, wearing its glasses and looking at us expectantly, is worlds away from your body at this moment. It is a dual Ana -- and that, too, is incongruous.
