Part of my "Archive Series" revisions. This shot was captured just a stones throw from Park City,
Utah where we spent one week on vacation over the Christmas holidays. Great skiing resort area
but not being a skier I resorted to taking my own side trip on a scenic excursion to satisfy my
hunger for landscape photography.
The sun was just rising as I spotted this look out across the highway. Luckily for us there was
a place to pull over. Looking back I remember enjoying my coffee at the side of the road basking
in all of nature's beauty.

-Revised horizon edit
Just before leaving I had to try a portrait shot. I usually try to bring at least

Along the Fraser River Banks...

This shot was taken shortly after the mist had dissipated in the foreground. I still like the effect the light
had on the scene and the surrounding mountains.

Early Morning...

Specs: Two blended shot...sky and foregound.
This is one of the first shots I captured that morning before the fog completely dissipated. I
was fortunate to have my setup mostly in place. I hung around for well over an hour after
taking this shot, just appreciating the sight and scents of the cool, moist surroundings...

Another Day...

The early morning fog was quickly dissipating. I almost walked away empty but
at the last moment I decided to seek out a new look-out. The early morning mist
made it difficult to navigate the slippery river bed...
