At the age of three, it was his first time in the water. It was the last hour of the last
day of the season at our pool club. Everyone was invited to bring their dog for a swim.
It was chaos - maybe 100 people and 35 dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. Kona was
most interested in sniffing the other dogs, but we "encouraged" him to jump in. He was
- let me say - less than 100% enthusiastic, but instinct took over and he showed he could
