One of New Zealand's scarier driving experiences. It's one-lane, about a kilometer long with an
incline of several degrees. The walls are bare rock and drip constantly, the road has more
potholes than even a typical Washington, DC, street, and your headlights provide virtually all
of the illumination. It's one-way in the summer, controlled by a traffic light at either end,
but in the winter, when there's less traffic, it's two-way. There are several wider spots for
passing, but I'd hate to see two buses meet in one of them.
