The first time I saw the black spot on Kona's tongue, I thought, "Omigod what is that?"
Samantha (the family expert on such matters) assured me, however, that black spots were very
common on dogs' tongues and were of no real significance. A web search supports her claim.
It still looks a bit strange to me, but it certainly doesn't seem to bother Kona.
