My sister and I have long believed this photo was taken during our parents' honeymoon.
However, it was clearly taken at the same place and time as the next photo (which includes
my mother’s sister and her son) and, that fact, combined with the foliage in the photo
suggests that it was taken on another occasion, most likely in Warsaw after my parents
returned from their honeymoon, in the spring or summer of 1938.
