The fire juggler was a hit, especially when he threw the torch in the air, reached under his legs to catch it and when he pulled it our from under his legs, his pants caught on fire and he had to sit in the sand to put it out.

At the dance contest, we were talking to another cruiser who asked if we were going to Suveroff. We said yes we were. “Good” he said, “we can go in company. We are leaving tomorrow.”
“Great” I said, “but wait a minute tomorrow is Friday!”
“So what”
“Don’t you know, it’s bad luck to leave on a Friday!”
“What are you superstitious?”
“Yes I am!” I replied
“Well I am not so we are leaving tomorrow!”
“OK,” I said, “but; we will wait until Saturday so will meet you there!”
