Each time I had set up the twin jibs, it was a dangerous operation lifting the poles off the deck, hooking them to the mast and attaching the sails. While we were at anchor, I noticed another boat in the harbor with two poles permanently mounted on its mast. The boat was owned by Atto Walters who had sailed around the world in his little boat. He enthusiastically came over to Bebinka and showed me how to rig our poles on the mast and set them using a topping lift, fore-guy and after-guy. It worked very well and I couldn’t thank him enough.
