We arrived in Paris by train from London around lunch time, and had lunch at the Terminus Nord restaurant. Then we took a taxi to our hotel... with a taxi driver who did not speak English. And mah Fraahnch eez not varah good. Thankfully I thought to ask her whether she spoke Italian, which she did. After checking into the hotel we had a rest before heading to the tour company office near the Louvre which I thought we had to do on foot. It was only later I found that there is indeed a metro line that would have taken us there. From the tour office we went on a somewhat disappointing evening tour of the Louvre. After that we walked back to our hotel, taking in the sight of Paris at night and an evening supper at a crepe house. Enjoy.
