This morning we packed up the bags and hopped the train from Zürich to the mountain village of Interlaken (population 5,610) in the centre of the south of the country.

There were no available seats on the train, so we had to travel with the bags in the vestibule. For me at least, the day just involved taking some time to hang out in Interlaken. As is too often the case, I probably should have been more assiduous about documenting a day that came but once.

Still, the main reason for us being here would come tomorrow; the trip up to Jungfraujoch in the mountains.
