The Kiama lighthouse, seen from low down in the park surrounding it.
Actually I laid down in the grass and shot from ground level to isolate the picture into the three elements of grass, lighthouse and sky. I had a couple of other shots where you could see the top part of a person who was walking along the footpath on the other side of the rise, but decided that I preferred the "purer" composition of this one.
And, of course, this is a special image for me as my 40D finally reaches 4 figures.
Note that the time was slightly out on this one as I'd forgotten to reset the 40 D from daylight savings time to standard time. Either way, the sun was fairly low down by this time.
