QE2 is passed by Sirius, a twin hulled "First Fleet" class inner harbour ferry. Sirius was named after the flagship of the first fleet, HMS Sirius which was wrecked off Norfolk Island in 1790.
The First Fleet class is about half the age of QE2, having come into service around 1988 as part of the Bicentennial celebrations.
