Darling Harbour has a number of fountains and other water features which are designed to enhance the urban environment, including some fountains which shoot up at various points along a long water trough. Here we have a very up close and personal view of one such fountain, the rising column of water echoing the tower of the Novotel Hotel which is visible in the background.

(No, I didn't get into the trough to take this shot; I haven't become THAT obsessive yet, and 300D's aren't quite waterproof enough. There are bridges across it at various points.)
