Not even close. What happened was this. I was doing some landscape shots using my 70-200; a great lens for reaching out, but a ridiculous lens for trying to do close-up people shots. (At least in theory, though it helps if you have more than half a second to compose the image.) Just then, a totally smitten, snuggle-bunny pair of Japanese honeymooners came up to the lookout to take in the sunrise. As you can tell from my galleries, candids aren't my thayng. But I figured "what the hey, why not?" And so I was able to snap one shot, just one, before they wandered off, hand in hand and laughing.
And this shot was it. A picture which is the antithesis of the true story.
