No, I'm not really a "bird person" and I'm making a guess at the species, but they certainly add a bit of colour to the coastline.

Edit September 2023: Guessing? Not any more I'm not. Rainbow lorikeets are a regular sight in the part of the world that I now live in, and periodically like to hit me up for some bread and honey treats on my front verandah.
