Well, that blows.

This wasn't reputed to be the greatest bistro ever, but it had respectable scores on all review sites. Some of the reviews gave high praise indeed to some dishes here.

I found the dining at the Hyatt to be distinctly underwhelming. (Which is possibly part of the reason that it's no longer a Hyatt, but that's a different story.) I had therefore pencilled this place into my mind for a meal. As it turned out I didn't have the time or need to go there.

And now I never will. Google shows the place as "Permanently Closed", as does the bistro's Faceplant page. That page was updated "3 months ago" and since I'm writing this in December 2024 that means it must have closed around September. (Its last Faceplant post, which was not a closure notice, just a "business as usual" one, was made on 16 September.)

Vale, Nonna's Bistro... I never got to know you.
