I notice from the timestamp that this wasn't particularly early by my standards. However I had arrived back relatively late from the AS Roma vs AC Milan calcio match the previous evening, so presumably allowed myself some time to sleep in.

(Interesting aside; I note that the banners promoting that match appear to have gone from this part of the street, although other parts of the street still showed them.)

In any case, I thought I would take the opportunity to get out to do some (relatively) early morning photo shooting as well as make my way down to the waterfront to get some breakfast.

This is just down the street from my hotel. They don't seem to be a lot of residences in this part of the city, so the streets are extremely quiet.

I don't really mind that. However we'll start seeing more people as the photoshoot goes on.
