Part of the reason for a friendly match is to give your young players some playing time. Thus, friendlies (unlike competition matches) usually have no particular restrictions on substitutions. In the 85th minute manager Daniele De Rossi made our final substitutions:

* 18 year old second striker Mattia Almaviva (#78, standing to the left on the sideline) replacing Attacking Midfielder Paulo Dybala (#21, who is making his way to the sideline);
* 18 year old midfielder Gianmarco Tumminelli (#82, standing to the right on the sideline waiting for his senior member to reach him) replacing Houssem Aouar (#22), who we've seen plenty of times in this match); and
* 17 year old defender Jacopo Mirra (#79, who is presumably on the field somewhere already) replacing defender Evan Ndicka (#5, who is already part way to the bench).

Mattia Della Rocca (#81), who had come on at the 71st minute, watches on. There isn't much information on Della Rocca. As of 2024, he was a forward / attacking midfielder in the AS Roma U18 side, where he played 28 games for 10 goals and 6 assists. He played 2,175 minutes in total.

I could be wrong but there seems to be an air of if not actual dejection, certainly resignation and acceptance in the AC Milan players.
