Well, it was back then. So why post this now (12 August 2024)?

Reason the First... I'm still catching up on this gallery to try to get it something like up to date. The pyramids were built more rapidly, but one has to start somewhere.

Reason the Second... Now that PBase management has actually bothered to put the OM-5 into the camera list after ignoring my requests for the whole of 2023, it might be useful for people to be able to see samples from it. At the time of writing there are only 79 photos for the OM-5, the overwhelming majority being from my shoot of the AS Roma vs AC Milano match in Perth so I imagine that people searching the camera (as I know some do) want a wider range of samples. The majority of mine since last January are from the OM-5. This is therefore an opportunity to provide a more diverse range of shots.

Although there are a few samples from other OM-5 owners I suspect that the majority gave up hope on ever seeing it on the list... to the extent that newer model camera owners still use PBase at all, of course. (The projected annual drop in photos posted for this year is currently -7.7%, which will bring us under 900,000 photos for the first time if the trend continues.)

There was a third reason regarding why artificial non-intelligence photo keyword tagging is a complete and utter crock of sheep, but I'll keep that one in my back pocket for another shot.

Oh, the fourth one? Never return to the office on the second day of the year. There's no point. The little hole in the wall Italian-ish bar that I get my prosciutto panino from for lunch? Closed. The coffee place downstairs? Closed. Every other frapping place in the CBD? Closed. Do yourself a favour and work from home instead until the year really starts up again.
