Following on from shot 0965, the ball went to our midfielder Houssem Aouar (#22) anyway. He appears to be in full control of the situation as he dribbles the ball into attack, with Bove and Dybala having lured Milan's Yacine Adli off to the right.

Of course, in calcio you can't just watch the person with the ball or their surroundings; you need to look at the pitch overall and where other players are moving to in both attack and defence.

As a tactical display shot, this would therefore not be a great one since we can't see what attackers and defenders lay between Aouar and the goal. But stuff that, when I was shooting it wasn't to do tactical shots for analysis, it was to get frozen moments of action and I have succeeded here, I think, if I do say so myself.

Originally I was going to tell you Aouar's tale, but then I realised that I had already done so in image 0860. I thought of flipping to a discussion of Dean Huijsen (#3 on the centre line), but I'll wait until we can see the man's face.

Huijsen may seem to be just standing there, but this man seemed to be the one who was starting almost every sequence of play.
