I discussed the history and fate of the Qantas 747-400 (700-438) VH-OEH in the previous image in this gallery, and won't go over it again. Here we see it from a different angle as it turns to face us (more or less) as it taxis around the airport.
The design of the 747 was pushing 50 years old by the time I took this shot (the first one entering service with Pan Am in January 1970, in a very, very different world), but it is still a really good looking aircraft.
