I doubt that there is a planespotter out there who doesn't like a nice piece of aircraft tail, which is where many of the aircraft painters have their best art on display.
This is the tail of QantasLink Boeing 717-2K9 VH-YQX (alias Bouddi National Park), which I described in earlier images of today's shoot.
Tails often look even better when they're lit up in the dark. It's a little late for that today, but at least the light gradient of dawn makes for a good backdrop.
