I had to trace all the way down the coastline to find this, but finally did so by the combination of (a) The rocks transitioning to the beach at the north, (b) the large roundabout, (c) The building which seemed to have grass on the roof (though I believe that's just a park behind the car park, which connects up with concrete ramps leading down to the sand), and the funky looking corner cutting building on (what I found to be) Marine Parade, which is The Bay Hotel and Diner.

Put it all together and I have found... Maroubra Beach.
