It has been a relatively hot and humid week, though nowhere near as bad as some of the temperatures that we normally have in summer. A cool change came through last night which made it deliciously, crisply chilly when I got up this morning. The temperatures swung up to moderate by the time the sun rose. However as you can see from the wavetops shredding, there was still a cool wind blowing.
It didn't make any difference to these surfers, however, who charged into the breaking waves en masse. Coming in the other direction were a few surfers who were already out there, and of course the occasional seagull above.
