If you come from outside of Britain, you would probably think of this as the quintessential upper-middle-class London townhouse type of building.
That's an observation, not a criticism; sampling the essential "London experience" was one of the reasons that I chose this hotel.
The essential grey, overcast London weather was just a bonus.
