In the second half of 2016, the Powerhouse Museum put on an exhibition of artefacts and other displays from the large hadron collider in Switzerland.
It was very, very cool. Literally. In fact, cooler than deep space. The real one, that is, not this exhibit. (Which, incidentally, included one of the original cathode ray tubes used by J J Thomson to isolate the electron back at the end of the 19th century.)
It was a physicist's version of a fun park.
