Another shot that is being put up the better part of a year late, and which has been overtaken by events.

As mentioned in some past shots the entire area of Darling Harbour running from the old Convention Centre to the old Exhibition Centre has been torn down and is being replaced by a new Exhibition and Convention centre which opened several months after this shot was taken.

At this stage of the year I was still working on the budgeting system and often working back until late, then catching the evening train from Central. This involved walking through Darling Harbour and seeing the construction that was in process. This building is, I believe, completed now and come next April I will not be seeing a site like this, obviously.
