160829_055648_1724 Moon Over The First Tower (Mon 29 Aug 16 (1))

San Marino, Monte Titano, Republic of San Marino

After dinner on our (regrettably) one and only night in San Marino, we retired to our rooms. I was up very early the next morning, out on photo prowl before dawn. I made my way back to the first defence tower, which I had visited the previous day. Upon my arrival I noted that the crescent moon was still above it, just before dawn. This was the result.

How lovely that line is against the sky...the moon is a bonus. It would be lovely walking through that lovely town in the silence of dawn. V
