Note that I am not complaining.

We had some hot weather in November and December, but for the last week or so it has been, for the most part, relatively mild. On Monday a drenching rain band set in on the east coast and while the initial effect was to turn the city into a steam bath, that was short lived and eventually the rain cooled things down.

Both yesterday and today were "take an umbrella or else" weather and the forecast is for it to continue until Friday. If it keeps the summer heat away for a while, I can live with that.
