... Is not necessarily my idea of summer fun.

This morning we still had the effects of the southerly change that came through the night before last. This is reflected in some rather explosive surf in the rocks to the left. However this seemed like "Summer Fun!" (as the lifeguard watch tower says) to at least two surfers.

Had I gotten up earlier, and had the sun not ben so obscured, I probably would have tried for some shots of the exploding waves using the new ND filter. However they were much further away than they appeared (this was using the 40-150 at full reach) and I didn't think I'd get great value out of them without the sun hitting them. Something to file away for future use, though.
