As I mentioned in earlier shots, the morning had started out overcast and drizzly. And indeed, there are still rain clouds around as you can see here. However the Sun had broken through to a greater or lesser extent as the well lit ground shows.

An unintended benefit of this change in the weather was the first of two rainbows that we would see that day. Neither one yielded a pot of gold unfortunately.

This is undoubtedly a beautiful place, but what you don't see here is the icy wind tearing through, which was suggested so powerfully by the ocean in the previous shot. This is not a place I would like to be stranded in, though I'll never regret (or forget) visiting it.
