Experiments with candids continue, this time down at the construction site and from a longer range, but still using quite an open aperture.
This would not in fact have been my first choice; there were a couple of guys playing handball on the pedestrian bridge leading in to Harbourside which would have been great, but the angle that I had always saw one or the other players obstructed by the walkway columns.
There was also a female traffic controller who had a thayng happening with her hand signals, but out of context I didn't think the shots were all that interesting. So in the end I decided to go for this simple parody of the Abbey Road album cover.
This road is in fact closed due to the reconstruction of the Convention Centre just beyond; only construction vehicles and delivery trucks for the Harbourside Shopping Centre are allowed down it. (This explains the chalky texture of it.)
