As I set off on the 20 minute walk from the station to the office (buses are faster, but infrequent at that time of day), my eye was caught by this 3 storey high poster above. Which is, indeed, eye catching.

Fat Prophets is a financial management firm with, clearly, a sense of humour. They also provide some research newsletters that I've read from time to time, though obviously they don't give away "the good stuff". Nonetheless the newsletters have been pretty much on the mark and insightful. Although I'm not a believer in letting others manage my money for me, I'll admit that I'd probably at least take a look at these guys if I was.

(No, I don't actually look quite that bad quite yet and am rather more proficient with a longbow than that, but if I am ever to be photographed with Brian Cox again I'm sure as heck going to be hitting the gym on a daily basis for a month before the shot is taken to try to get a very large number of kilos off.)
