Yes, I did apply a black and white filter to this. But there was barely any need to for there was little non-grey colour in the shot anyway. The water colour is pretty much exactly the same as you see it here. A couple of the planks had a red colouring, there was a tinge of mould near the waterline of the mooring bollard, and that was about it.

Still, there are enough of a distraction for me to decide to get rid of them leaving only the texture of wood, steel and water.
