One could argue that I was letting off a bit of steam in the previous PAD's caption, but here we have a rather more literal example.

As I have previously mentioned, Wollongong was primarily an industrial city. And indeed, much industry remains. However it is diminishing. In the four months or so between me taking this picture and writing this caption, there has barely been a week go by without news of more redundancies in mining or industry. The grey skies in this shot may be entirely attributable to the weather, but they're an appropriate metaphor for the job prospects in the region as well.

However as we can see here, this plant is still pumping away on an overcast Saturday morning.
