The Olympus is a good pinch-hit camera if (a) You have the time and ability to work at the menus and use it often enough to know what they all do and how and (b) You don't ask too much of it.
Neither of those applied here, though photography wasn't foremost in my mind on this day.
The day before this I posted a shot describing the death of my one time boss, then assistant, and long term friend. This afternoon I was at the airport, preparing to fly up to the funeral.
Other people, there for other reasons, deal with the boredom of the period between checking in and boarding in their own way. Some with a bite to eat while watching the air traffic move around the apron, some by getting a coffee, some by gazing at the departures board, some by using the coin operated massage chairs.
And some by trying to take a photo with the living crud blown out of the background by asking a little too much dynamic range of any camera, much less a little pocket 4/3rds.
