It's hard to remember now, since the ensuing few months since I shot this (I'm posting it on 27 August) have been largely dry and temperate, but here lies living proof that in the early part of the autumn / winter season there was indeed a bit of rain.
This is of course Lake Belvedere at Sydney Olympic Park, a place that was once only a 20 minute drive from me and which therefore featured in a lot of my weekend PADs back in 2010/2011. Now, however, it's a much greater distance and I rarely venture here, which leaves me wondering what on Earth I was doing here on this particular day and consequently why I leave it 4 months to post PAD shots.
I think that I was here on my way to the Showground up the road to collect my award-unwinning entries in the 2013 Royal Easter Show; it's the only reason that I can think of why I would have been here at that time.
